CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) Terry Taylor had 24 points as Austin Peay routed Southeast Missouri 84-59 on Thursday night.

Carlos Paez had 15 points and eight assists for Austin Peay (11-7, 5-0 Ohio Valley Conference), which earned its fifth consecutive win. Jordyn Adams added 11 points.

Austin Peay posted a season-high 22 assists.

DQ Nicholas had 16 points for the Redhawks (4-14, 0-5), who have now lost five straight games. Nygal Russell added 12 points.

Alex Caldwell, the Redhawks' second leading scorer heading into the matchup at 11 points per game, shot only 20 percent for the game (1 of 5).
