Your AFC Champion Indianapolis Colts and your NFC Champion New Orleans Saints have bested the field and are set to do battle on February 7th from the yet-again renamed Sun Life Stadium in Miami. Somewhere in between the endless (CBS is doing 6 ½ hours before kickoff) and often mindless (imagine Ryan Seacrest trying to interview Vince Lombardi from the Red Carpet) pre-game, the increasingly disappointing “best” commercials of the year (Apple’s “1984” still ranks as our favorite), the AARP Halftime Rock and Roll Show (as oldsters ourselves, The Who will do…as long as Peter “I was just doing research for a book” Townsend doesn’t have a wardrobe malfunction), and the MVP’s declaration of an imminent meeting with the Magic Mouse (still the Happiest Place on Earth for us) there is going to be one hell of a football game!
