Razor Sharp NFL Mock Draft!

For many people Christmas in December 25th for me this year it falls on April 26th, Day One of the NFL Draft. Besides the actual games, the NFL draft is my favorite part about professional sports. This year there are three teams who have two 1st Round Picks, Cleveland (1 & 4), Buffalo (12 & 22), & New England (@3 & 31).IF we have three teams with two 1st Rounders, that means there are also 3 teams without one. They are the LA Rams, Houston and Kansas City. So lets take a look at this year’s First Round and try to make some predictions. I am making the picks without any trades, though you know there will be a couple. Lets see how these predictions go. As long as they are better than our weatherman’s, I will call it a success. Before you take a look at my list, make one of your own or at least write down who you think your favorite team will take. See if we agree and let me know! So with that being said, here is the 2018 Razor Sharp NFL 1st Round Mock Draft.

If you listen to the experts out there, this year’s draft is loaded with talent. They say there are about 50 1st Round Draft Picks out there and because of that, I expect to see quite a bit of wheeling and dealing early for teams to move up to get a certain player they really want and other teams willing to drop down to acquire a couple extra picks to add quality and quantity in the same draft. There are couple teams I see moving early. First is the Buffalo Bills to go after the QB they really want and not wait to see if one falls to them. Second is the Green Bay Packers who are looking to add a key component on defense like a Minkah Fitzpatrick, who won’t be there for them at #14. Last year the 1st and 2nd rounds had a ton of players that made impact in their first year. This year should be similar. Teams that can get 3 or 4 players in the first 50 picks could really help a team take the next step. So what do you think of this draft. Do you agree or disagree? Did I give your team the player or at least the position you were hoping for? Well now we just have to wait. Who will be the next Mitchell Trubisky that gets taken quite a bit earlier than expected or who will be the next Laremy Tunsil, who will do something that will make him drop. Is there are Aaron Rodgers or Warren Sapp that really drop for no reason other than the lack of need and comeback to haunt the rest of the NFL with a Hall of Fame career? Is there a Ryan Leaf like player out there that will fall way short of expectations? Bring on the Draft!
