Preview: Wake Forest at Florida State - September 20, 2008

These two have formed an ACC rivalry over the last couple of years that has shown no signs of slowing.  After years of bad play Wake Forest has awaken behind the leadership of Head Coach Jim Grobe.  With Florida State experiencing a couple of down years as of late, both teams have become excitingly comparable.

This matchup happens to be the debut of conference play for both squads, and that means emotions will be high and heart rates will be racing.  Look for a bit of rain to make field conditions a wee bit sloppy on Saturday.  Even without rain there is a good chance that both offenses will find the going tough.  Two of the toughest defenses the ACC has to offer will be on display.  Florida State is actually rated as the No. 1 defense in the entire country right now.  Their competition has been weak thus far, but this defense is for real and they will display what they are capable of on Saturday.
