#1 LaDainian Tomlinson
The league’s premier running back is now 29 and has showed little siqn of slowing down other than last years playoff knee injury. In 7 seasons LT has amassed a mind numbing 10,600 yds rushing and 115 TDS. But, what makes LT even more dangerous is his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. 7 straight seasons with 50+catches makes the Chargers play action one of the leagues best. Paired with one the the top O-lines Thomlinson has the record books in his sights and more than anyone can dominate a game and slowly run the opposition into submission.
#2 Randy Moss
A new start and one of the games premiers QB’S elavated Moss’s game last season. The Patriots resurrected Moss from the QB abyss that is Oakland and were rewarded with nearly 1500 yds receiving and a whopping 23 TDS from the extemely gifted towering wide out. 124 career TDS and 12,000 receiving yds rank Moss as one of the best. With his size and QB Tom Brady to get him the ball, when healthy Moss is nearly uncoverable when he is focused and ready to win.
#3 Peyton Manning
The past 10 years Peyton Manning has accumulated passing numbers like no one in history. With over 41,000 career passing yds and 306 touchdowns Manning strikes fear in NFL DB’S weekly. Manning’s play changing at the line of scrimmage confuses defenses and with weapon after weapon to throw to he carves teams like a surgeon. WR-TE AND RB the Colts have superior athletes, if given time Peyton will get the ball to them. Big strong and never hurt, there is no other QB CSS would want in crunch time than Manning.
#4 Adrian Peterson
The Vikings took a chance on the injury riddled Peterson by drafting him high last season. What they got is possibly the most explosive game changing back since Barry Sanders retired. Peterson put up 1341 yds and 12 TDS despite missing time to injury. Big, strong and fast he looks down the field at all times and has the ability to go the distance every time he touches the ball. Blessed with one the the leagues best O-lines led by Steve Hutchinson and Matt Birk,Peterson wants 2000 rushing yds this year. If he’s healthy, we certainly wouldn’t bet against it.
#5 Tom Brady
To us the former 6rd pick from Michigan doesn’t look like a great QB. But for 8 seasons since replacing Drew Bledsoe, Brady has found a way to win, win and win. The ultimate field general,Brady has become a superstar and leader of a team that seems to throw on every down. Last seasons NFL record 50 TDS and 4800 YDS passing can attest to that. The arrival of Randy Moss coupled with the pesky Wes Welker and highly productive TE Ben Watson have given Brady so many weapons that someone is nearly always open.
