Week 6 NFL Trends

Week 6 of the NFL regular season is here and so is our trend and angle report for the Sunday and Monday action

Denver@ Cleveland
The Broncos are 31-15 ATS overall favorites, 4-1 ATS this season, 34-19 ATS w/Manning at the helm, 9-2 ATS in the second of back to back road games, 8-2 ATS after a divisional game in the first of back to back non-divisional games and all NFL road non-divisional favorites are 11-2-1 with a bye on deck. Denver is 8-1 Over versus AFC North opponents and 7-3 Over in the second of back to back road games, but they’re 8-4 Under their last 12 games. The Browns are 4-0-1 ATS this season, 5-0 ATS at home off back to back road games and 6-1 ATS off a road game versus an opponent off a road game, but they’re also just 2-6 ATS after a straight up win. Cleveland is 5-0 Over this year and 4-1 Over versus AFC West opponents, but 4-0 Under after a road underdog win and 6-1 Under at home after back to back road games. Cincinnati @ Buffalo
The Bengals are 29-11-4 ATS versus non-divisional opponents and 5-2 ATS on the road, but just 1-4 ATS off back to back home games and 1-5 ATS at home versus non-divisional opponent off a road game. Cincinnati is 6-0-1 Over after 3 straight wins, 7-1 Over the week before Pittsburgh and 8-3-1 Over on the road versus AFC East. The Bills are 8-3 ATS versus AFC North, 9-2 ATS playing as an underdog, 6-2 ATS the last 8 at home and 5-0 ATS versus AFC North opponents. Buffalo is 10-2 Under at home, but 7-3 Over the week before Jacksonville. In this series Buffalo is 10-2 ATS the last 12 meetings and the last 6 have gone Over.

Kansas City @ Minnesota
The Chiefs are on a 3-7 ATS run including 1-4 this year, but they’re 5-0 ATS in the second of back to back NFC games and 7-2 ATS after playing an NFC opponent. Kansas City is 4-1 Over this year, but 4-1 Under versus NFC North opponents and 5-2 Under versus an opponent off a bye. The Vikings are 5-1 ATS versus the AFC, 10-3 ATS versus non-divisional opponents, 5-1 ATS at home and 11-3 ATS overall, but they’re also 0-5 ATS in game 5 of the season and 0-4 ATS on the road before facing Detroit. Minnesota on a 12-7-1 Under run, but they’re 7-2 Over at home off a bye, 7-2 Over in game 5 and 6-3 Over versus AFC teams at home. In this series Kansas City is 3-1-1 ATS the last 5.

Houston @ Jacksonville
The Texans are 7-3 ATS in the favorite role, 11-1 ATS Versus losing divisional opponents off a road game and 5-0 ATS on the road versus an opponent with double revenge, but just 1-4 ATS this season and 0-5 ATS in game 6 of the year. Houston is 9-2 Under the last 11 divisional road games and 7-3 Under after a home Over. The Jaguars are 6-18-1 ATS as a home underdog and 1-8 ATS at home after playing an NFC opponent. Jacksonville is 10-2 Under as a divisional home underdog. In this series Jacksonville is 4-1 ATS the last 5.

Chicago @ Detroit
The Bears are 5-1 ATS the week before a bye versus an opponent under 500, but 0-6 ATS after back to back AFC games. Chicago is 4-0 Over after an AFC road game and 6-2 Over after a road dog win. The Lions are 7-3 ATS as a divisional home favorite, 11-2 ATS versus a divisional opponent after a loss and 7-0 ATS in game 6 of the season versus a sub 500 opponent, but the Lions are just 1-4 ATS this year. Detroit is on a 14-7 Under run and 9-0 Under after playing Arizona, but they’re also 10-3 Over the week before Minnesota. In this series Detroit is 5-1 the last 6 and 5-0 ATS the last 5 at home and 5 of the last 6 meetings have gone Over the total.

Washington @ NY Jets
The Redskins are 6-12 ATS on the road, 1-8 ATS versus above 500 opponents with rest and 1-7 ATS in second of back to back road games. Washington is 4-1 Under this season, 7-3 Under on the road versus AFC opponents and 6-2 Under versus an opponent off a bye. The Jets are 4-1 ATS versus opponents with single game revenge, but they’re also 5-13-2 ATS versus NFC opponents, 1-6 ATS after a bye week,1-5 ATS after straight up divisional win, 1-8 ATS as favorites versus an NFC opponent, 3-14 ATS at home before playing New England and NFL teams after a win in London are just 1-7 ATS when playing their next game at home. Jets are 9-3 Under the last 12, 10-2 Under at home after a bye week and 6-2 Under at home versus NFC opponents.

Arizona @ Pittsburgh
The Cardinals are 21-5-1 ATS versus non-divisional opponents,12-5 ATS on the road, 16-7-1 ATS after a straight up win, 10-0 ATS in the second of back to back non-divisional games and 4-1 this year, but they’re also 1-4 ATS in game 6 and 2-9 ATS when over 500 in the second of back to back away games versus a non-divisional opponent. Arizona is 5-0 Over this season and 9-1-1 Over in the first of back to back games versus AFC opponents. The Steelers are 9-1-1 ATS as home underdogs, 5-0 ATS versus above 500 NFC opponents and 4-1 in the their third home game of the season. Pittsburgh is 10-4 Over at home, 6-0 Over after playing San Diego, 5-0 Over at home versus NFC opponents, but 3-1 Under versus NFC West teams and 4-1 Under the week before Kansas City. In this series 6 of the last 7 have gone Over the total.

Miami @ Tennessee
The Dolphins are 8-4 ATS on the road versus non-divisional opponents, 5-1 ATS on the road with rest after a divisional game and 5-1 ATS in the third road game versus a non-divisional opponent, but they’re also currently on a 1-8 ATS skid. Miami is 8-4 Under on the road. The Titans are 4-11ATS versus non-divisional opponents, 2-13 ATS after a straight up loss, 1-7 ATS at home and 1-6 ATS in game 5 versus a non-divisional opponents playing with revenge, but they’re also 9-0 ATS after a straight up loss of less than 8 points. In this series Tennessee is 3-1 ATS the last 4 at home.

Carolina @ Seattle. The Panthers are 5-2-1 ATS the last 8 games, 16-10 ATS playing as an underdog, 13-1 ATS in October on the road versus an opponent off a straight up/ATS loss and 9-1 ATS playing with revenge versus an NFC opponent, but they’re also 1-8 ATS with rest versus non-divisional opponents and 1-5 ATS after scoring 35 points or more. The Chargers are 8-2 ATS coming off a Monday night game, 7-3 ATS versus the NFC , 7-1 ATS on the road after a Monday night game and 7-1 ATS as road underdogs with revenge versus an NFC opponent above 500, they’re also just 3-13 ATS lately and 2-7 ATS playing in the underdog role. Green Bay is a 9-1-1 ATS home favorite, 21-11-1 ATS versus AFC opponents, 5-0 ATS this season, 24-10-1 ATS at home, 9-0 ATS when above 500 at home the week before a bye, 4-1 ATS at home versus AFC opponents and they’re currently on an 8-1 ATS run. Packers are 10-4 Over at home in the regular season. In this series Green Bay is 6-0 ATS the last 6 meetings.

Baltimore @ San Francisco
The Ravens are 18-8-2 ATS versus NFC opponents and 5-0 ATS after playing against Cleveland, but they’re also 0-4-1 ATS this year and 1-7 ATS in the first of back to back NFC games versus and opponent with revenge.
San Francisco is 3-7 ATS at home, 0-10 ATS after giving up 28 points or more, 1-6 ATS off an away game versus an opponent off a home game and the 49ers are on a 2-8-1 ATS run lately. San Francisco is 8-2 Under at home the last 10. In this series Baltimore is 3-1 ATS the last 4 meetings but San Francisco is 3-1 ATS the last 4 in San Francisco.

New England @ Indianapolis
The Patriots are 10-3-1 ATS versus non-divisional opponents, 13-2 ATS in the second of back to back road games versus a winning team off a straight up win. New England is 17-8 Over their last 25 games and 56-28-1 Over in regular season games. The Colts are 10-4 ATS playing as home underdogs and 5-1 ATS before facing an NFC opponents, but they’re just 1-4 ATS this year and 0-6 ATS versus AFC East opponents. In this series New England is 4-0 ATS and 3-0 ATS the last 3 at Indianapolis.

NY Giants @ Philadelphia
The Giants are 9-1 ATS as road underdogs sandwiched in between 2 home games and the underdog in NY Giants games are 8-2-1 ATS, but they’re 1-5 ATS in the first of back to back divisional games. The Eagles are 6-15 ATS as divisional home favorites, 3-6 AS the last 9 and 2-10 ATS in the second of back to back home games, but they’re also 5-1 ATS on Monday night versus divisional opponents and in the series Philadelphia is 9-4 ATS versus the Giants. Note the underdog in Philadelphia games are 9-1 ATS.
